1. Introduction
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions of the Used Car Warranty provided by Alan Day Select, located at 277 Finchley Road, London NW3 6LT (hereafter referred to as "the Dealership"). The warranty is offered to the purchaser (hereafter referred to as "the Customer") of a used vehicle from the Dealership, ensuring peace of mind and confidence in their purchase.
2. Warranty Coverage 2.1. The Warranty covers the following components of the vehicle: engine, transmission system, braking system, electrical system, and suspension for a period of [xx] months from the date of purchase or up to [xx,000] miles, whichever comes first. 2.2. The Warranty is limited to repairs or replacements of the components listed above due to manufacturing defects or mechanical failures under normal use conditions.
3. Exclusions
3.1. The Warranty does not cover:
• Normal wear and tear.
• Routine maintenance and servicing.
• Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or neglect.
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
• Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to paint and interior trims.
4. Claims Procedure
4.1. To make a claim under this Warranty, the Customer must: • Contact the Dealership's service department at 02035535606 to report the issue. • Provide proof of purchase and Warranty documentation. • Allow the Dealership to inspect the vehicle and validate the claim.
4.2. The Dealership reserves the right to perform repairs or authorize a third-party service provider to do so. All repairs must be approved by the Dealership prior to commencement.
5. Limitations of Liability The Dealership's liability under this Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as specified in Section 2. The Dealership shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or commercial losses.
6. Transferability This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the vehicle.
7. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
8. Amendments The Dealership reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The current version will always be available on our website www.alandaygroup.co.uk
