Protecting Our Planet:
Water Conservation: Washing a single car can use up to 150 liters of clean water. Many areas in the UK are experiencing droughts, and water levels in reservoirs are significantly reduced. Discontinuing car washes will save thousands of liters of water each month, conserving it for essential purposes.
Reducing Pollution: Traditional car washes can result in harmful chemicals entering waterways, contributing to pollution. Eliminating car washes helps keep rivers and oceans cleaner and safer for wildlife.
Lowering Our Carbon Footprint: Car washing is an energy-intensive activity. Reducing such activities is part of our strategy to minimize our environmental impact and decrease our carbon footprint.
Planting Trees for a Greener Future: Tree Planting Initiative: For every car serviced, Alan Day will plant a tree in the UK. One tree can absorb approximately 22 kilograms of CO2 each year. This initiative helps offset emissions, supports local biodiversity, and contributes to a healthier environment for future generations.
Supporting Our Community: Corporate Responsibility: We are committed to leading by example, making decisions that benefit both our community and the planet. Saving water and reducing pollution actively contributes to a more sustainable future.
