At Alan Day Volkswagen, we are committed to promoting sustainability in every aspect of our operations. Our efforts have been recognised by Future Net Zero, a leading sustainability-focused organisation, who has worked with us for the past two years and named us as the one of the most impressive partners they have had the pleasure of working with.

Future Net Zero has independently assessed our carbon footprint, and together with us, we have developed a carbon reduction and recycling strategy, which we have implemented and driven within our business. All our staff has completed their learning programs and recently onboarded their ESG learning portal.

We are the first dealer group in the country to achieve Carbon AAA rating, and our aggressive goal is to become the first carbon-negative motor group. To achieve this goal, we have introduced innovative initiatives to offset our carbon emissions, such as investing in green technology and implementing sustainable practices.

Recently, we invested £175,000 in LED lights and £100,000 in a fully electric mobile service van, reducing our carbon footprint and demonstrating a commitment to sustainable transportation. Additionally, we have a "Zero Waste" policy, which ensures that all waste is either reused or recycled. We have also been buying energy from 100% renewable sources, further reducing our carbon footprint.

We have recently introduced a unique program to our customers, offering them the opportunity to drive carbon neutral for the first year of ownership by calculating and offsetting the carbon footprint of their first 10,000 miles. This innovative approach allows our customers to make a more sustainable choice when buying a vehicle and supports our efforts to become carbon neutral.
